Calvary Church

For Calvary Church, the aim was to create a simple “brand” that swiftly gets out of the way, keeping the focus on Calvary’s mission – "to make more and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ" – and their desire to serve the neighboring community. Communicating this mission demanded a heavy dose of candid photography (and video) to help show Calvary attendees that Christ-focused living is already happening within and outside the walls of the building in ordinary people. Bold, simple text and imagery – as opposed to gratuitous visuals that can quickly convolute a message if overdone – create an exciting urgency and raw-ness that reflect the experience of living for Jesus and for others.
